Q:What is your position on the sometimes-explored plot in comics that Wonder Woman gets asked to be a surrogate mother for Lois and Clark's baby? Thank you in advance.

Can’t say we ever came across that plot in comics. Fan fiction perhaps? It’s not something we would see Clark ever asking of her anyway. Clark was not ready for a child. See Rucka’s run. But doesn’t Diana have hopes for herself and motherhood if she finds love? Who says she wants to be a “womb” for anyone? Why would Clark put such pressure on his friend as well? Whose friendship he sometimes did not deserve. Remember Max Lord? It’s not like Diana was that close to Lois either. Respected her sure. But never been portrayed as besties as far as we know. So emotionally and even psychologically why would Diana have to do this? Even if she did, Lois’ DNA is human and incompatible with Clark’s so how would their DNA even work if they even found a womb to carry it? If they really really wanted to they could do the Superboy/Lex route and grow their own kid, we guess. We’re sure there’s enough tech out there to do it without having to ask that of Diana. Or they could adopt. Many normal kids need parents. They don’t have to have a super kid. But even though Lois suggested adoption, it still remained Clark did not think they were ready or it was safe to bring up a child at that moment in time. And to tell you the truth, he would have been right.
